Get to know our October 2021 Member Spotlight honoree:
Lucy Finnegan, Senior Marketing Coordinator in HNTB's Northeast Division
With 15 years of experience as a marketing professional in the professional services industry, Lucy Finnegan specializes in marketing strategy, business development, and proposal generation. As Senior Marketing Coordinator with HNTB, Lucy is responsible for leading proposal coordination, interview preparation and collaborating with pursuit teams to develop win strategies. Lucy loves the challenge of leading complex pursuits, implementing standardized processes and procedures, driving performance and efficiency and supporting cross-functional teams.
And a couple of things we had to cut out of our interview because of the time constraints...
Thing Lucy likes most about being an SMPS member:
“The friendships I have made with other SMPS members! Everyone has been so welcoming right, from the start, at in-person events, at conferences, and even the virtual world. I value the ability to talk to people in the same industry throughout the U.S.– in a different role or company than mine. From hearing their stories, I have learned so much! I also had amazing mentors through SMPS and they have really helped me throughout my career.”
Another fun fact about Lucy:
“I recently moved to a new place and the square footage is slightly bigger than my previous home so I’ve been enjoying visiting the many antique stores in my new neighborhood and I have found some great gems at great values (and I don’t have to wait the 12 weeks to a year supply-chain shipping issues we are having now!)”
