Despite a summer downpour that swept through Manhattan, the rain could not dampen the excitement surrounding the 2026 SMPS-NY Liberty Awards Reception. Over 90 AEC marketing, business development, and industry professionals gathered at The Haven Rooftop at Sanctuary Hotel New York for an unforgettable evening of celebration, connection, recognition, and community.
The annual celebration brought together members, colleagues, sponsors, award winners, volunteers, and industry leaders to recognize the exceptional talent and accomplishments that continue to strengthen the SMPS-NY community and the broader AEC industry.

The evening also celebrated the recipients of the 2026 SMPS-NY Professional Achievement Awards (PAA). These awards recognize individuals whose leadership, accomplishments, service, and dedication have made a meaningful impact on their firms, the industry, and the SMPS-NY community.
Vanguard of the Year:
The Vanguard of the Year Award salutes a senior-level professional who actively promotes the strategic vision and values of their company and fosters a culture that encourages all staff.
Marketer of the Year:
The Marketer of the Year Award salutes a marketer's achievement, leadership, and significant contributions to their firm's marketing success during the past year.
The Rising Star:
The Rising Star Award salutes a marketer who has shown dedication to the chapter through committee involvement and has the potential to become one of the industry's shining stars.
Volunteer of the Year:
The SMPS-NY Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes an individual for exceptional dedication, leadership, and impact through service to the chapter.
Mary Findlen Scholarship Grant:
The SMPS-NY Mary Findlen Scholarship Grant supports emerging industry talent by providing the recipient with full registration to the SMPS Amplify Conference.
President's Cup:
The President's Cup was presented to Corrine Collins in recognition of her years of dedicated service to SMPS-NY as both a member and a member of the Board of Directors. Her commitment, leadership, and ongoing contributions have made a meaningful and lasting impact on the chapter and the SMPS-NY community.
