New York, NY – 10/22/2024 – The Society for Marketing Professional Services New York Chapter (SMPS-NY) is proud to announce the appointment of its Board of Directors for the 2024-2025 term. This dedicated group of professionals is committed to advancing the marketing and business development practices within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
President: Erika Moshkovich
Vice President and Marketing Communications Director, STV

Erika Moshkovich, CPSM is Vice President and Marketing Communications Director at STV. In this role, she develops and executes strategic marketing and business development initiatives and oversees her team’s proposal activities for the firm's Buildings Group practice. With nearly two decades of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, Erika has a proven track record in marketing, communications, and business development. Before joining STV, she led the marketing and proposal department at award-winning consulting engineering firms.
Erika holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management and Pre-Law from Pace University. She is the President of SMPS -NY Chapter for 2024-2025, having previously served as Director of Sponsorship. Erika is also an SMPS-accredited Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM). In addition, she contributes as a member and volunteer on several committees of the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP) for the Greater New York City and North/Central New Jersey Chapters, where she is the Director of the Marketing/Digital/PR Committee. She is also a past SLT group member and serves as the Treasurer at her son’s elementary school.
Immediate Past President: Olivia S. Farquharson
Marketing Director, Pavarini McGovern

Olivia S. Farquharson, CDMP, PCM is a seasoned marketing and communications leader with nearly 20 years of experience developing brand strategies across various industries. Known for her data-driven approach and ability to foster meaningful connections, Olivia consistently drives growth through strategic marketing initiatives. Currently, as Director of Marketing at Pavarini McGovern, she leads high-impact marketing and proposal strategies, positioning the company as a leader in construction management and securing notable projects like 25 Water Street, the largest commercial-to-residential conversion in the U.S. (2023 & 2024). Another career highlight includes leading a transformative rebranding and digital strategy that increased business at a previous firm by 300%, ultimately earning the company recognition as a Top 25 FinTech Innovator.
During her term as President of the New York chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS-NY) from 2023 to 2024, we secured new sponsorships, partnered with industry organizations to expand networking and learning opportunities, and introduced a financial growth strategy. Olivia was a member of the Forbes Communications Council for many years and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, and Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology, along with certifications in digital marketing.
Outside of her professional work, Olivia enjoys songwriting, with her music available on platforms like Pandora, iTunes, and Google Play.
Chapter Champion: David Koren, FSMPS
Director of Marketing, DeSimone Consulting Engineers

David Koren is an expert in strategy and revenue generation for mission-driven design and engineering firms focused on the built environment. David is currently the Director of Marketing at DeSimone Consulting Engineering, a rapidly growing structural engineering, facade consulting, and construction consulting company. He has over 20 years of experience leading marketing, business development, and communications efforts and teams for design and engineering firms such as Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Gensler, Perkins Eastman, Ralph Appelbaum Associates, ESI Design, Morris Adjmi Architects, and WSP. David is the author of The Architect’s Essentials of Marketing, a guide to marketing for architects, published by John Wiley & Sons and endorsed by the American Institute of Architects. In January 2008, David was named one of the "40 under 40" in Building Design & Construction magazine. He is a Fellow of SMPS, a past president of the NY Chapter, and currently the Chapter Champion.
Treasurer: Corrine Collins
Marketing Manager, Nelson + Pope

Corrine Collins is the Marketing Manager for Nelson + Pope/Nelson Pope Voorhis, a full-service, multi-disciplined engineering, architecture, surveying, and environmental firm headquartered in Melville, NY with offices in New York City and the Hudson Valley. Throughout her career, Corrine has specialized in marketing for the AEC industry, including the development and implementation of strategic and focused marketing efforts, coordination and creation of proposals, marketing collateral, public relations initiatives, website design, identity branding, database management, and social media implementation.
Since 2010, Corrine has been a member of SMPS-NY. She previously served as Director of Education on the board of SMPS Long Island (2011-2012), and on the Board as Director of the Long Island Affiliate (2012-2019). Corrine serves as the Treasurer and in this role, she will continue to work with SMPS-NY’s executive committee and the other directors to oversee the management of the financial affairs of the organization.

Tiffany Carter brings her deep level of experience with SMPS-NY to the 2024-2025 Board of Directors and Executive Committee. She has been involved in several committees but has most recently been active on the Board as the Director of Communications and Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). Tiffany's extensive involvement and deep understanding of our organization position her as an excellent fit for the role of secretary.
Communications: Diana Gerges
Senior Proposal Manager, Bravo Group

Diana Gerges brings over 15 years of professional experience to the table, with a rich background spanning marketing, proposal management, communications, and social science research. Honing her craft in these domains, Diana has cultivated a deep understanding of effective strategies to elevate brands and foster meaningful connections. Her journey in the AEC industry has equipped her with valuable insights into its unique dynamics and challenges. By leveraging her expertise, she has consistently spearheaded impactful campaigns and initiatives, achieving remarkable results and fostering strong relationships with clients and collaborators.
Diana keeps a busy schedule, in addition to her role as a Senior Proposal Manager at Bravo Group, Diana serves as the Director of Communications for the SMPS-NY Chapter, where she helps shape the narrative and boost the organization’s visibility. She works on creating and implementing communication strategies, producing engaging content, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent messaging. Her dual roles are key in maintaining a strong presence in the industry while effectively connecting with members and clients alike.

Roger Marquis serves as the Business Development Director at Liebhaber Company, a general contracting, construction management, and architectural millwork firm specializing in upscale interior projects in New York City. With a rich background spanning over 30 years, Roger has held senior-level marketing and business development roles across various industries including architecture/design, financial services, and technology. Additionally, he successfully managed his own company for several years before entering the AEC industry.
Roger thrives on collaborative efforts to devise strategic and innovative ideas that drive business growth. He excels in market research, adeptly identifying new opportunities and forging connections to unlock potential business avenues. His knowledge of the AEC industry combined with his professional relationships will allow him to bring insightful programs to our memberships.

Liz Kupcha has over 25 years of marketing experience in the design and construction industries. Her wide range of responsibilities have included but are not limited to proposal management, client relations, publicity campaigns, and event planning. Liz has been an active member of SMPS since 1997. This involvement has allowed her to learn about emerging industry trends and develop her leadership abilities. Liz’s SMPS activities have included participation on local and national committees as well as Board positions in progressive roles.
In 2010, after spending 15 years as an in-house marketer for various design and construction firms, Liz established a marketing consulting firm. As the firm grew, Liz secured assorted diversity certifications as an MWDSBE and has been able to participate in government procurement projects through various agencies.

Ivoire Lloyd is the Director of Business Development at EXP, with 20 years of experience in marketing, business development, corporate communications, and proposal coordination across sectors like legal, benefits, and transportation. A Bronx native, she is passionate about the A/E/C industry and previously managed proposal operations at SYSTRA USA. Ivoire holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Advertising from Norfolk State University (May 2004), has published articles, led workshops, and authored her first children's book. She serves on several boards, including as the Director of Education for SMPS-NY and as the Secretary for COMTO New York . Additionally, she is the Director of Social Media for Young Professionals in Transportation NYC and a member of APMP and the Black Marketers Association of America.
A dedicated volunteer with NY Cares and the NAACP, Ivoire is also a proud mother of two daughters. Her achievements include being named “Marketer of the Year” by SMPS-NY in 2023 and receiving the “Changemaker in Transportation Award” in 2022, as well as recognition as a "20 Under 40 Outstanding Woman in Construction" in 2021.

Taylor Arias, CPSM is a Senior Marketing Coordinator for Dewberry Engineers Inc. With eight years of AEC industry experience, she supports Dewberry’s Northeast Region with proposal writing, presentation coaching, and promotional marketing activities. She has a passion for helping others and is seen as a reliable resource to her team. Taylor earned her Certified Professional Services Marketer (2024) and actively maintains her specialized skills in graphic design and digital photography.
Taylor has been an active committee member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) New Jersey Affiliate since 2015. This involvement includes planning quarterly SMPS Spirits and annual programming events. Taylor also serves as co-chair for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of New Jersey’s Membership and Programs committee.

Andrea has two decades of experience in the AEC industry. With profound expertise in data processes and customer relationship management databases, Andrea has played a pivotal role in streamlining and optimizing project systems throughout her career. As a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM), Andrea possesses a deep understanding of the unique challenges and demands of the AEC industry, allowing her to develop tailored solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Her passion for data-driven decision-making has made her an invaluable asset to the organizations she has worked for and volunteered. Beyond her technical prowess, Andrea is known for her strong leadership skills and collaborative approach to problem-solving. Her ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams has been instrumental in driving successful project implementations and ensuring seamless coordination between various departments, whether at H2M or through her tenure as a Board Director with Canstruction Long Island.
As an industry veteran, Andrea Sobocinski continues to be a driving force in the A&E sector, leaving a lasting impact on the organizations she serves and contributing to the advancement of data-driven practices in project management. Her dedication, expertise, and passion for her work make her an inspiration to aspiring professionals in the field and a valuable asset to our SMPS community.

Starting as an administrative assistant in an architectural firm, Michelle unexpectedly found her calling in marketing and proposal management, a passion that has guided her career ever since. Her path led her into consumer services and retail marketing where she witnessed the formative years of digital marketing. These experiences broadened her experience in marketing and management and honed her strategic thinking and adaptability.
Michelle is excited to represent GEI Consultants across multiple offices in the NYC Metro Area, New York State, and New Jersey, and SMPS-NY as the Director of Sponsorship. She brings a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset infused with passion for a challenge that aligns with her multifaceted approach. Her journey reflects resilience, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Having worked one-on-one with entrepreneurs in micro businesses and executives in large corporations, she has a wealth of experience and aims to contribute to SMPS-NY by working with our partners and the marketing community.

Natasha is a New York City-based Marketing Specialist at Turner Construction, a leading global construction management company. With a background in sociology from the University of Miami, Natasha joined Turner in 2019, initially working in the core & shell estimating department before transitioning to the marketing department. Natasha has secured numerous pursuits and projects, including but not limited to the Battery Park City Northwest Progressive Design Build Resiliency Project and Pace University’s 1 Pace Plaza East Renovation, totaling over $2 billion.
Natasha co-founded the Young Professionals Employee Resource Group for New York employees, exemplifying her dedication to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Her attention to detail, creative design process, and outgoing personality have proven invaluable to Turner and the industry. In 2022, Natasha’s exceptional contributions to the New York business unit were recognized with an employee staff award, further cementing her position as a valued asset within the company. With her passion for marketing, background in sociology, and commitment to excellence, Natasha is devoted to driving innovation and elevating Turner Construction to even greater heights.

Lucie transitioned from the aerospace industry to the AEC industry in 2007. This marked the beginning of her successful (she prefers “rewarding”) career. Her AEC journey began at a small, minority-owned firm that grew into a prominent player exceeding $15M annually across multiple entities. Since then, Lucie has been the catalyst in the growth of other small MBE firms, drawing on her knack for cultivating and developing meaningful, strong relationships, accurate positioning, and unwavering integrity. She values ongoing growth and lessons learned, both personally and professionally, finds their correlations, and applies them to each. Lucie continually expands her technical knowledge by being active in varied organizations. This invariably opens more opportunities across the industry. Lucie’s authenticity, willingness to share knowledge, and genuine transparency have helped strengthen her industry position, relationships, and driven success for both herself and the organizations she has been a part of.
Lucie currently serves on the SMPS-NY Membership Committee, as AMFP-Greater NY Director of Digital Media Committee, Member of the AIA | Center for Architecture Dinner Committee and a contributing member and speaker at NAWIC, National Association of Women in Construction, Greater NY Chapter.

With 12 years of marketing experience in the AEC industry, Carly is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Senior Marketing Specialist at VHB, a renowned civil engineering consulting and design firm. In this role, Carly is instrumental in leading and developing complex proposals from the receipt of the RFP through to submission and interview. Her meticulous attention to detail and strategic mindset ensure that every proposal reflects the technical expertise and innovative spirit inherent to VHB, significantly enhancing the firm's competitive edge. Carly is currently serving her second year on the Board of Directors for SMPS, where she holds the position of Director for the Westchester/Hudson Valley affiliate.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Wayne Lambert
Director of Supplier Diversity, Turner & Townsend

As the Director of Supplier Diversity at Turner & Townsend, Wayne Lambert leads efforts to enhance the firm’s Supplier Diversity program and expand the supply chain to create contract and capacity building opportunities for diverse businesses, including and not limited to minority, women, disadvantaged, local, and small businesses. Wayne works with public and private sector clients and provides support to meet utilization targets, amongst other internal and external efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Previously, Wayne worked in the public sector, where he had nearly two decades of experience in supplier and workforce diversity, spending time in New York City’s Mayor’s Office of M/WBE as Deputy Director of Programs, as Chief Diversity and Industry Relations Officer with the NYC Department of Design & Construction, led M/WBE efforts and supported health equity initiatives at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and served at NYC’s Department of Small Business Services, where he connected over 10,000 small businesses to public and private sector opportunities. Wayne also serves as a Board Member on New York City’s Procurement Policy Board (PPB).
