Directions

It has been 10 years since Superstorm Sandy yet the Northeast is still in recovery mode. The New York Region must respond proactively to enhance the built environment.  As we look to the future, the AEC industry is responsible for reimagining how to sustainably integrate resiliency for near- and long- term solutions.  Opportunities range from carbon-reducing retrofits of individual buildings to strengthening our coastal infrastructure.

SMPS New York brings together industry leaders to discuss how the AEC industry is uniquely positioned to play a pivotal role in designing a future that is both resilient in our changing climate and sustainable in reducing our carbon footprint.
